Our C&P New Style 8x12 inch press was delivered on July 24th, 2010.  I purchased the press from Glen Bauder in Napa, CA.  That is him and his son delivering the press on the low-boy trailer.  Corey, Mike, Thomas, and myself (Alan) all worked through the day to get the press installed.  We fitted the press with a treadle from Hern Iron Works, and pulled first impressions from the press around 3:09 p.m.  The press, serial # B64112 dates from around December of 1949 and originally was used at Fine Arts Press in Woodland, California.  Despite a bit of rust and needing new rollers and oiling, it prints beautifully.
